Resources for Responsible Conduct of Research

CITI Program (Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative) is a nationally recognized comprehensive subscription service that provides online training in RCR to researchers at academic institutions. Rutgers is a subscriber to the service.

Ethics CORE (Collaborative Online Resource Environment).  National Ethics Center with excellent RCR and ethics resources, sponsored by The National Science Foundation (NSF).

The Online Ethics Center (OEC) for Engineering and Research, from the National Academy of Engineering, has extensive resources for ethics in science and engineering education.

The Project for Scholarly Integrity from the Council of Graduate Schools (CGS) provides resources for graduate education and has published Research and Scholarly Integrity in Graduate Educate Education: A Comprehensive Approach (2012), on building high quality RCR programs for graduate students.

The Ethics Education Library, funded by NSF, is a collection of resources for scholars and university administrators interested in developing ethics training and instruction programs for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students.

Online Evaluation Resource Library (OERL) for NSFs Directorate for Education and Human Resources
A collection of evaluation plans, instruments, reports, glossaries of evaluation terminology, and best practices, with guidance for adapting and implementing evaluation resources

Student Assessment of Learning Gains (SALG)
An online survey that measures student perceptions of their learning gains due to any components within a course. Faculty can modify a template to match any and all features of their courses, have their students take the survey on-line, and have the data returned to them as either raw data or with simple statistical analysis
