The School of Graduate Studies (SGS) is heir to a long history of scholarship and research. Created in 2017 from the merger of the Graduate School-New Brunswick and the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, the SGS is a premier research school at Rutgers, one of the world’s leading universities.

The School of Graduate Studies Alumni Association (formerly the Graduate School-New Brunswick Alumni Association) acts to maintain a lifelong bond between alumni and Rutgers and each other. There are no dues and all graduates are automatically members.

Our mission is to unite alumni, friends, and the SGS to foster lifelong camaraderie in a collegial nurturing environment and to support efforts to achieve excellence in graduate education and research. We are a chartered interest group of both the Rutgers Alumni Association and Rutgers University Alumni Association.
