Leonard Cassuto, Professor of English and American Studies at Fordham University, has been described as “America’s graduate advisor.” He is the author or editor of eight books, including The Graduate School Mess: What Caused it and How We Can Fix It (Harvard University Press, 2015), and writes a widely-read column (“The Graduate Advisor”) for The Chronicle of Higher Education.
