- Alexander Felson, an Ecology and Evolution graduate student, has been named as one of Crain’s 2009
40 under 40
- Professors Jackson Lears (History) and Stephen Stich (Philosophy) have been elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences
- Professors Jeff McMahan (Philosophy), Jacob Soll (History), and Deborah Gray White (History) have been awarded Guggenheim Fellowships
- The sixth annual Distinguished Alumni/ae Awards
Reception and Dinner was held on Friday, March 6, 2009.
