Brian Jeffrey Scholl![]() Dr. Scholl joined the Yale Psychology Department in 2001, after a term as a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard. He was granted tenure at Yale in 2006, the first time that department had ever tenured one of its own. His work is in the area of cognitive psychology, specifically on visual cognition, attention, and awareness, and has garnered many awards, including an early career award from the American Psychological Association. He is already an international figure in his field and has been invited, at an unusually early stage of his career, to the Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences. Dr. Scholl is also praised as an exceptionally imaginative and effective teacher and presenter. To celebrate Dr. Scholl’s Early Career Accomplishment Award, the Graduate Program in Psychology will be hosting a colloquium on March 2 at 1:00 p.m. in the Psychology Building, room 101. |
