2005 Research Excellence Awards

 

Criteria:

Research Excellence

Presented to a Cook College/NJAES faculty member whose recent scholarship has had significant impact on the profession. They will have published a paper or series of papers describing a significant contribution to any relevant discipline.

Sustained Research Excellence

Presented to a Cook College/NJAES faculty member whose research has demonstrated sustained excellence; has achieved national or international recognition; has published in highly visible and prestigious outlets; and has had a major long-term impact on the scientific community, as evidenced by grants or awards.

Research Excellence and Impact

Presented to a Cook College/NJAES faculty member whose research has had significant impact on industry, government, public policy, or the general public.


Award Information:

  • One award may be presented in each category.
  • Each recipient will receive $1,000 in support of professional activities deposited into his/her departmental account.
  • Each recipient will also receive a commemorative plaque.
  • A permanent plaque, showing all recipients, is showcased in the lobby of Martin Hall.
