Karyn Malinowski

Dr. Malinowski is Director of Rutgers Cooperative Extension and Director of the Rutgers Equine Science Center. She was the first female Equine Extension Specialist in the U.S. and is the recipient of many awards for her contributions, both to the study of aging and stress management in horses and to the equine industry. She is known for her dedication to the education of young people, especially through the New Jersey 4-H Horse Program and the American Youth Horse Council.

To celebrate Dr. Malinowski’s Lifetime Achievement Award, the Graduate Program in Animal Sciences and Rutgers Equine Science Center will host a reception on March 2 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Bartlett Hall, room 123.
