Jennifer Adams Krumins (Ecology and Evolution)
Causes and Consequences of Microbial Biodiversity
This work is on a new area of ecological theory where Ms. Krumins relates biodiversity to how ecosystems function. She has been supported on a highly competitive graduate fellowship from NASA and is first author on four of her 12 publications in top professional journals. She has also been invaluable in helping other graduate students develop competitive proposals for external funding and was a highly effective advocate for graduate education and research at a Rutgers Day in Washington, DC.
