Bruce B. Clarke

Bruce Clarke is a world authority on turfgrass pathology and holds the Ralph Geiger endowed chair in turfgrass science at Rutgers. His research has produced methods of turfgrass maintenance that have reduced the use of fungicides and promise to reduce the use of pesticides as well. He has had more than 400 invitations to speak at national and international meetings and many awards. In addition, he has been a model academic citizen in every respect, including teaching, mentoring, academic leadership, administrative and committee service, public and professional service, and development of the Turfgrass Center and its facilities.
