Gwangyong Choi

Gwangyong Choi (Geography) will be teaching the course Environmental and Social Concerns Associated with Climate Change. Mr. Choi’s dissertation concerns climate change and early Spring onset in the Northern Hemisphere, showing that Spring is coming earlier and suggesting this as a significant signal of climate change. He has proposed a course that will illustrate the ways in which knowledge of physical geography may inform understanding of policy issues. Mr. Choi is an outstanding student who has embarked on an ambitious dissertation and is an experienced teacher.
