(Women’s and Gender Studies)
Professor Hawkesworth is the complete teacher-scholar and an inspiration to students in her field. She is praised for her classroom teaching, deeply admired for her unselfish mentoring, and credited with creating the Ph.D. program in Women’s and Gender Studies.
