International Research

Your decision to conduct overseas research should be made with an understanding of the current world situation, which requires that all travelers remain aware, informed and prepared.

As you begin to plan your overseas study and/or research, it is important to plan for and to be aware of health, safety and security concerns in the region you will visit. To assist you in this process, below are links to US Department of State and the US Centers for Disease Control along with other reliable sources to provide information about in-country security, safety and health issues. Furthermore the State Department has launched a secure online travel registration for American citizens.

Prior to your departure, we strongly recommend that you review the following information and keep us posted about your travel plans and contact information by completing the on-line International Travel Registration form. By providing us with your contact information, we will be able to get in touch with you quickly in case of an emergency.
